The
Municipal Finance Practice Group of Polsinelli Shalton Flanigan Suelthausoffers a depth of experience in a wide
array of governmental, public, public-private and municipal
financing transactions. Our attorneys serve as bond counsel,
underwriter's counsel, borrower's counsel, and as counsel
to banks issuing letters of credit or other credit enhancements
in connection with tax-exempt financings, as well as institutional
purchasers of tax-exempt bonds and obligations. The Firm
regularly participates in tax-exempt financings involving
health-care facilities, educational institutions, governmental
projects, housing developments, historic preservation
projects and conduit financings for a wide variety of
501(c)(3) organizations and private enterprises. Our bond
attorneys work closely with attorneys in the Firm's Nonprofit
Organizations and Tax Practice groups in the structure
of transactions and delivery of compliance opinions. Our
Municipal Finance Group participated in financing the
construction of the Kiel Center (now known as the Savvis
Center), the Edward D. Jones Dome, the new Christian Brothers
College campus, the Argyle and Seventh and Pine parking
structures, and expansion of facilities for Rockhurst
High School and Ottawa University.
